At Gladwell Academy we are moving forward with our Agile Coach courses, adapting them to be offered remotely. According to Agile Coach Trainer Renate Cremer “crises like this are exactly when Agile Coaches are needed most,” and she has already begun to consider how this period of isolation will change the way we work and teach Agile.

Maaike Klasen and Renate Cremer are both experienced Agilists. Maaike is an experienced Scrum Master with extensive coaching capabilities who is involved with the International Coaching Federation, as well as working with Scrum.org; Renate Cremer, on the other hand, an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) at Gladwell Academy who also put together the 12-day in-depth Agile Coach course. Together, they’re going to explore the Agile Coaching discipline.

Most trainers will agree that group activity is invaluable for the learning experience. But doesn’t a remote setting make such interactive moments all but impossible? Our trainers at Gladwell Academy would disagree: not only is group activity possible…it’s everywhere!

For Gladwell Academy trainer Sathyanarayana H R, spreading the awareness and adoption of SAFe has been his bread and butter for many years. Soon though, he’s likely to dive one important level deeper, becoming the second person of India to join the small community of SAFe Program Consultant Trainers.

One moment in 2014 you’re nervously watching registrations trickle in for your first training session. The next moment, five years have passed. Happy birthday to Gladwell Academy! Time for a heart-felt thank you: to our many eager participants, to our ambitious clients, and to all the colleagues who have come and gone.

For the second year in a row Gladwell Academy has been selected as an FD Gazelle, the award handed out by business newspaper Het Financiële Dagblad to the fastest growing businesses of 2018. This year we´re not just on the list though; we´ve landed a solid second place for the West Holland region, small business category – just after Gold winner Stars and Stories.

The Product Owner is a value optimiser who turns the client’s needs into value. In Scrum, you create value at the end of each sprint by providing a new product, the increment. In addition to this role there are two other roles within Scrum; the Scrum Master and the Development Team. Earlier we explained the differences between the role of a Scrum Master versus that of a Product Owner. Having someone who provides high quality in this role is crucial in order to deliver a valuable product to the client.

Gladwell Academy is again FD Gazelle 2018! For the second year in a row Gladwell Academy is nominated as one of the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands by the Dutch newspaper Financiële Dagblad ‘s FD Gazellen -awards. The final results of the rankings will be published in the middle of November.
